Knowledge is the most important capital there is and that is why LIGHTWORLD NETWORK; a Youth Led Social Development Outfit based in Ibadan, Nigeria organised a one day public campaign on Revitalising the Reading Culture in Nigeria on Thursday, September 22, 2011. The programme which was chaired by the wife of the Deputy Governor of Oyo State; Her Excellency Mrs Janet Adeyemo with Alagba Dr, Adebayo Faleti as the father of the Day; represented by the wife; Olori Adebayo Faleti gathered together several schools from primary, secondary and tertiary institutions across the State. Held at the Multipurpose Hall of Oyo State Library Board Dugbe, Ibadan featured Book Readings by Ayodele Olofintuade; NNLG Literature Award Finalist and author of several Children’s Books, Akin Bello; President of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Oyo State Chapter.
