LIGHTWORLD NETWORK has continued to improve the deplorable condition of the educational sector in Africa by taking active role in salvaging the dead reading culture and literacy development in local communities across Nigeria.
With the introduction of READING SCHOOL; A 45 minutes pull out for students of both primary and nursery schools where the students do nothing else but read for 30 minutes and use the remaining 15 minutes to discuss, share and understand difficult words. The programme is geared towards the restoration of Reading Culture among the students.The flag off with three schools in the Ibadan South West and Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State on Thursday, February 9, 2012 featured members of the Lightworld Team working with the school authorities and staffs to ensure the practice and the discipline was well adhered to appropriately.
