Seyi is an alumnus of University of Dodoma, Tanzania. He has a Business Development Certificate and a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Pan African University and the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He also has a Certificate in Health Safety and Environmental Management.
He is a prolific speaker cum writer and he was recently on the Panel Board for an Innovative Article Contest, Champions of Society Forum, Nigeria. He was also the Chief Editor, ChemEnger Magazine, Chem Press and served as the Public Relations Officer to Chemical Engineering Department as an Undergraduate.
‘Seyi is a professional member of Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigeria Society of Engineers, Africa Institute of Business Simulation and Chattered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
He is a passionate and highly motivated youth, trained by Africa Leadership Forum and Nigeria Leadership Initiative in 2009 on Democratic Leadership and participated in the annual World Bank International Youth Essay Contest. He is also a Co-Chair of Society Champions, a not for Profit Organisation that is dedicated to intercultural, interreligious development of Nigeria. An astute facilitator with global influence, he has also been trained at Hilltop School on Citizenship at Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Awgu, Enugu, Nigeria. He has also completed Legislative Internship at Oyo State House of Assembly.
He is a democratic and enviable youth leader and now the Team Lead of Human Capital Development Initiatives (HCDI) where he leads other youths in Human Capital Renaissance in Africa. He has also participated in Democratic Series Training with Youngstars Foundation with other young democrats across the continent of Africa. In 2011, he was in Kumasi, Ghana where he worked with other youths to draft a policy for Green Economy Now; “KUMASI CONSENSUS”
He has won award from Africa Artist foundation/Nigeria Breweries, Shell Nigeria Scholarship Award, Afenifere Renewal Group Leadership Essay award, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Essay award in 2008 and 2009, Africa Institute of Business Simulation Innovative Brains Award, Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) Essay Award, Nigeria Maritime and Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Outstanding Essay Award, Great Debate award, NLI Business Plan award. Last year, he got an award Nomination from the Federal Ministry of Youth as one of the Top12 young change makers in Nigeria on Literacy Development.
He is at present a lead faculty on Cultural Integration at National Tolerance Academy and Director LIGHTWORLD NETWORK, A Human Capital Development Project Organisation on promotion of Reading Culture and Knowledge Management.
